The Music of Heaven || Old Fashioned Hymn Eternal Praise Chorale 2023 blueballmennonitechurch.org/eternal-praise-chorale 1 The music of heaven is sweeter in measure And purer in every strain, Than the music of earth, tho' it fills us with pleasure, As it thrillingly rolls over valley and plain. Look, Ye Saints, the Sight Is Glorious
The tragically missing final verse: . And when from death I’m free I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on. . And when from death I’m free I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on. . And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing and joyful be. . And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing and joyful be. . And through eternity, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on. . And through eternity, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on.
Thank you for sharing!
The final verse that defines this song and its Christian faith is completely missing in action.
Please post it here!
This is one of my favorite hymns. Coincidentally a trio of men, tenor, baritone and bass sang this at my Episcopal church last Sunday. Gorgeous! 🎶
the sound is not good - sometimes off and sometimes on. Can it be remedied????
Sorry, we had technical difficulties and the only way to get better sound is to see what the other videographer captured.
You did it again, brought me to tears again! I love the arrangement, instrumentation, and harmonization. Wow, and Picardy third ending. We don’t have to be ashamed of this God you are playing and singing about. God demonstrates his own love towards us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us.
One of my old time favouritesc
Congratulations!!❤
Beautiful choral interlude by the bride, groom and company. . . I just realized that Jessica is the feminine form of Isaac.
God bless you all❤❤❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Beautiful
You welcome
Благословь вас Бог.Beautiful
Спасибо, Слава Богу!
Thanks you sounds good singing good job
Thank you!
I love Lloyd and Mary Kaufman! They were like a third set of grand parents to me and my siblings growing up. Many times they came and stayed at our home over night. They spent Christmas at least once and we spent a bit of time at their house in Ohio. Lloyd’s arrangements are fantastic, but it is really Lloyd and Mary as people that really makes them fantastic. In case they ever see this, love you Gramps and Gram!
Fantástico. Bravo.
Благослови вас Бог,дорогие.прекрасно..это где.кто вы?
Спасибо большое. Мы возле Ланкастера в штате Пенсильвания, родные братья.

do you have sheet music for this song?
I added the link to the description. Are you from the Kantsevich family originally from Belarus?
@@YuriyAndSarahKravets Unfortunately, I don't see any link... That's right, I'm from Belarus (Brest). Whom do you know with this surname?
@josefkantsevich5378 www.gerth.de/nearer-still-nearer.html I met some of your family in Mińsk Mazowiecki in 2018 when I went there with a choir from America. Maybe you were here when we sang: ruclips.net/video/3eaGP2f7570/видео.htmlsi=a_W42dKH14LlxI0D
@@YuriyAndSarahKravets I heard that you visited Poland. Nice to meet you ;) Thanks for the link.
@josefkantsevich5378 Most of our music making is now involving Lyrica Sacra. youtube.com/@LyricaSacra?si=6FIabfxjh79QwtSS Maybe you know Ghena Roshchuk from Ukraine? His family is living in the states now and participating with us this year.
muy bueno, tienen las partituras?
Hi! The link to the sheet music is in the description.
Absolutely stunning!! What a way to start this beautiful morning on our temporary sojourn. God bless you!
That is a wonderful perfomance of a spiritually uplifting piece by Stuat Townend.
that should of course read Stuart Townend.
Absolutely beautiful...what a blessing!!
Very well done! Bravo
Where is this verse? And when from death I'm free I'll ' sing on and when from death I'm free I'll sing on I'll sing on and when from death I'm free I'll sing and joyful be and through eternity I'll sing on, I'll sing on and through eternity I'll sing on.
Looks like this setting doesn’t include that verse, but thanks for pointing it out.
Beautiful singing!
The most lovely hymn I think I've ever heard. Thank you Philip WJ Stopford
Thank you for recording this, Yuriy!
Beautiful!! The harmonies....👌🏻
This song
Thanks for your comment, what about it, specifically? ❤️
❤
Singing together with pure peaceful mind is the feel of presence of God that make progress through pleasant sound of expression which is like perception it is the process of chanting through this common plateform
Дякую, прості слова, легко співати, глибокий смисл.

Great old Hymn well sung and played. A beautiful arrangement.
Thank you!
Beautiful. I sang this at church today
Nice! Where’s your church?
What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul! ... ❤ What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss to bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul! ...✝ When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down, 🌊 when I was sinking down beneath God’s righteous frown, Christ laid aside His crown for my soul for my soul, 👑 To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing; 🙌 to God and to the Lamb, who is the great I AM, while millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing. 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 10,000 X 10,000
I found this song in my of the hymnals at my church. It has a different verse in it. It has the first and third here followed by this different verse. It goes: And when from death I'm free, I'll sing on, I'll sing on And when from death I'm free, I'll sing on And when from death I'm free, I'll sing and joyful be And to eternity, I'll sing on, I'll sing And to eternity, I'll sing on. It is just lovely. The orchestra did a phenomenal job, and the choir sang like angels.
@@herelizasaint that is lovely! Which hymnal did you find it in?
@@YuriyAndSarahKravets It is Hymns for the Family of God. 1976 copyright by Paragon Associates, Inc. Nashville, Tennessee.
Very good! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful and well performed. Where was this performed.
maravilloso 😍
Thanks for doing this. I am among the 1000’s whose life was impacted by the compassion and service of this iconic man. Love you, Lloyd.
Hey man, do you still have this sheet music? The link doesn't work anymore
Hey, apparently that copy service is no longer functioning or something, so I found it here on the arranger's website: www.campkirkland.com/music/p/it-is-well I'll also update the description.
Excellent and valuable interview. After hearing Lloyd talk, I'm ready for another choir tour! He is a remarkable man who has impacted many people.
When our society provides a steady stream of gargage it is wonderful to see and be reminded of true beauty once again.
Thank you Yuriy for getting this done! I have been thinking that someone needs to do something like this with Lloyd. He is a wise man full of great insight into the music world. This will be treasured for many years to come!
Yes, I thought the same and finally got around to doing it. ☺️
This is the first time I have seen Mennonites venture into non-vocal music. I am a bit disappointed.
Why are you disappointed?
I am Catholic. The Mennonites are on the opposite end of the religious spectrum. Whether or not we agree on doctrinal matters, we all admire the way Mennonites live. Musical instruments seems to be a departure from that. Oh, I know -- I am making sweeping generalizations but that was my reaction to seeing the instruments. Plus, I am just not used to it. I listen to much Mennonite choral music and I have never seem them using instruments.@@YuriyAndSarahKravets
Thank you for your response, @butterflybeetles. I’m all for engaging in a meaningful discussion if you’re up for it. My first question would be what you mean by Mennonites being “on the opposite end of the religious spectrum”?
I don't know much about Mennonite theology so I will stick to what is visible. A Catholic church is normally full of art (I guess you could call it idolatry). On the other hand I have seen Mennonite concerts and weddings on RUclips in the plainest of buildings with not one piece of decoration or something which appeals to the eyes. That is one reason why we can say that you represent the opposite end of the spectrum to Catholicism. @@YuriyAndSarahKravets
One of these distinctives of Mennonites is the common practice of reading the scriptures and trying to discern the heart of God on a matter. Then they try to ask right questions. Using that approach, I believe one of these right questions is “can God be glorified by the use of voices accompanied by musical instruments?” Scripture indicates in both the Old Testament (see Psalm 98) and the New (Ephesians 5 - “Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs…”) that the answer to that question is “yes.” That would be a scriptural approach, I believe. If we approach the question from a cultural perspective, that is where more controversy is bound to take place. I welcome your thoughts.
